Honestly I'm starting to wonder if there's such a thing as a car battery that actually lasts in this country, because I feel like I'm replacing mine every 18 months like clockwork and it's getting ridiculous. I drive a Hyundai Tucson, nothing fancy, but I'm pretty sure I've gone through three batteries in the last four years and I'm starting to think maybe I'm just buying from the wrong places. I've seen a few people online talking about how some brands handle the heat better than others, with Amaron apparently being pretty solid for UAE summers and Solite being the OEM choice for Korean cars like mine . I'm just trying to find a leading car battery company in UAE that actually stands behind their products and doesn't give you a battery that's already half-dead from sitting in a hot warehouse for months. I've read that AGM batteries tend to last longer in extreme heat compared to standard ones, like up to 3-4 years versus 1.5-2 for regular batteries , but I'm not sure if the extra cost is actually worth it or if it's just marketing hype. I'm also curious about warranties because some places offer 12 months, others 24, and I've been burned before where the warranty process was such a hassle that I just ended up buying a new one anyway. Would really appreciate some honest advice from people who've had a battery last more than two years here, because I'm genuinely tired of this cycle and want to find a supplier I can trust for the long haul. |
